Group Cloth

This was an experiment I tried for a silent auction at an upcoming craft sale. I asked the ladies on the Monthly Dishcloth KAL group to send me stitches for one row, covering 32 stitches. I got almost 30 responses! The result wasn't exactly ugly, and it wasn't exactly beautiful. It's what I would call...... interesting. It was fun watching it grow, one row at a time. Here is a picture of the final product, along with the pattern. After each row is the name of the person who designed it. Some people got pretty creative, and if you are unfamiliar with any of the stitches or abbreviations, this website can help.

I tried to correct any mistakes I came across (yes, there were a few) but I may have missed one. If you find one, please let me know!

My Big Helper

Kirby, my dog, loves my knitting almost as much as I do! He even gets to "help" sometimes! In other words, he eats my yarn wrappers. :o) He gets excited when he sees me with a new skein, because he knows what's coming! He stares at me until I give it to him, then gets it between his paws, and rips it to shreds. Here are a few pictures of him with his latest "treasure." (a Sugar n' Cream wrapper)

April KALS

These are this month's KALs from the Monthly Dishcloth KAL group. I love how they turned out! I'm so glad to be in a group where the moderator would use a cross pattern! As for the Mid-month KAL, I love lace cloths, and this one is especially pretty. They take a lot of effort, but the end result is definately worth it!

40 cent yarn!!!

Someone on the KAL group sent in (about 2 weeks ago) a message saying that Amazon was selling Sugar'n Cream yarn for 40 cents a skein! I bought a LOT. (81 skeins) I couldn't afford not to! :) I was really dissapointed though. I had initially put 2 or so of each color in my cart, and then I went through adding more. Somehow, when I clicked "update cart" It didn't work, so I didn't buy as much as I wanted to. So, I only had 1 of some colors when I wanted 5. Oh well, I'm just lucky I got any. Here's a picture of me and my yarn. The picture of me is terrible, but that's not really the point.

The Empty Tomb

I designed this pattern for Easter. I knitted mine in light yellow, but it's hard to tell the color from this picture.
